To promote the album, a series of singles will be released to digital streaming platforms, beginning with Greensleeves (theme and variations). For review/auditioning purposes, access to the album on SoundCloud can be provided via request by email.

Joinings is a collection of pieces written during the six months from October 2024 to March 2025, and further develops the neoclassical leanings shown in my previous album, Journeys. The three-movement Cold Wind Sonata reflects my interest in the sophisticated design of sonata form. Greensleeves is a soulful centuries-old song, and makes a suitable theme upon which to base a simple set of variations. Ripples II is an enhanced version for piano of my piece Ripples (1995) for guitar and electronics (which appears on my Seven Visions album). Nocturne (for Stephanya) explores the romantic sound world of Chopin's Nocturnes. Elegy grew out of the dissonant chord progression heard in its loud section. Things We Said Today (by Lennon/McCartney) showcases my interest in solo piano renditions of popular songs.
